A glimpse, discerning, slow evolving time.....
For Ages, changes crossed our minds
In slow, uneasy circles:
A guaranteed reminder of
Young, embittered dreams.

As paths arose before the temple;
Casting lots around the rituals
The naked priest lost hope and staggered
Faith-spurned through broken lines.
But still, in silence, found an ancient rhyme
From reason, seasons crossed our minds
Taking gentle pause - a misty condensation of Truth......

And stammered fragments "Our Father..."
Spitting blood from dead ideals "Thy Kingdom come..."
Through screaming masses "Thy Will be done..."
The lamb lay battered "Lead us not into Temptation..."
Stained-glass shattered "Through the Power..."
And The Glory "and the Glory..."
What of the Glory? "Forever...and ever?..."
